At Static Ink, we prioritise safety and responsibility. That's why we have a strict "No ID, No Piercing" policy.

Why is identification so important?

1. Age Verification:  Many piercings are regulated by law, requiring clients to be a certain age.  We need to ensure we are complying with local regulations.
2. Consent Confirmation:  Proper identification helps us confirm that the person receiving the piercing is indeed the individual providing consent.
3. Maintaining Accurate Records:  Your safety is our priority.  Identification allows us to keep accurate records for any future needs or concerns.
4. Preventing Fraud and Misrepresentation:  Requiring ID helps us prevent unauthorized individuals from receiving piercings.

Acceptable forms of ID:

 * Government-issued photo ID: (e.g., driver's license, passport)

 * Other official photo ID: (e.g., student ID)

Important Note for Guardians:

If you are the legal guardian of a minor seeking a piercing and your last name differs from the child's, please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate in addition to your own ID. This helps us verify your guardianship and ensure we have proper consent.
